Jim graduated from Kansas State University, Washburn School of Law with honors, holds a Masters of Law in Taxation from New York University, and is also a CPA. He has practiced law since 1988, and concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning and administration, including business succession planning, estate and trust administration, income, estate and gift tax planning, and the establishment of charitable organizations.
Jim is very experienced working with high net worth families doing multi-generational estate planning. He has also handled many challenging trust and estate administrations. He is very pragmatic and has good street-smarts.
Over the years, Jim has written professional articles and lectured to professional organizations on tax and estate planning issues.
